Hi! I’m Gabrielle McLean and I’m so happy you are here. I unknowlingly began my career as a professional artist over 30 years ago when I took a part-time job painting children’s murals while studying at University.

Three years later, the same year I received a degree in Political Science, my apartment was destroyed in the Northridge Earthquake. In less than 20 seconds, I lost my home and my job. The crossroad that formed in those 20 seconds drove me to seriously consider what I wanted to do with my life.

In the months that followed that event, I made the decision to start my own mural company and to figure out how I can create a life I love on a daily basis.

This was a long process for me, and along the way I became convinced that creativity and play were key components of living a great life. Another key element is community. Heartfelt Play is my way attempt at sharing these befiefs with others.
